Laptop beat geek kidkanevil returns once again, this time with an epic companion piece to last years 'BUBBLE' album; a 33 track package of bonus tracks, instrumentals and remixes titled 'BOBBLE (Bubble Expansion Pack)', released on his independent imprint 'Studio Gsan'.

The British-born, Berlin-based producer has spent the last few years between studio sessions and production work with artists like Massive Attack, Connie Constance and Ocean Wisdom, and touring worldwide as part of M.I.A.'s live show.

Once the pandemic hit, kidkanevil took the time to return to working on his own music in his Berlin apartment, which saw the creation of the 'BUBBLE' project. A bright, energetic, fun and idiosyncratic body of work, based on an imaginary RPG and inspired by playing copious amounts of Nintendo Switch and obsessing over his favourite cult anime / manga artists during lockdown.

Now he presents a huge 33 track companion release 'BOBBLE (Bubble Expansion Pack)', comprised of 7 bonus tracks from the 'BUBBLE' sessions, 5 instrumentals from the original album and an impressive 21 remixes. A mix of up and coming talent and respected pioneers from the electronic scene, kidk says 'I just asked everyone who I'd love to have a remix from, not expecting everyone to say yes!'. LA beat scene legends such as Daedelus, Free The Robots and Kutmah rub shoulders with London bass dons DEFT and DJ Cuddles aka Mr Mitch, in his new dance floor focused guise. Hector Plimmer and My Panda Shall Fly offer deep, textured and vibrant reworks. Of course the Japanese scene represents as always with kidk's work, with sonic wizard Yosi Horikawa, raising star Utae and local hero andrew of the Tokyo powerhouse collective TREKKIE TRAX remixing Bubble's lead single 'Coin Game' featuring J-rap sensation Nakamura Minami.

kidkanevil's previous albums were released via labels such as Worldwide Award-winners First Word Records, London-based Par Excellence and Berlin's Project Mooncircle whilst his work has previously been supported by Bonobo, DJ Shadow and Daedelus. A veteran of the beat scene, kidkanevil is a Red Bull Music Academy alumni and has played solo shows internationally via Sonar, Boiler Room, Fabric and Low End Theory.
